It all started with Alhaji Afolabi Semiu Adeshina popularly known as Pasuma’s Boy or Omo Paso. He was an astute and ardent follower of the world’s Fuji maestro, Pasuma.  He graduated from the revered Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo; the best higher institution in the North of the hipopo and the south of the Sahara. Given his penchant for music, he dared the authorities in LASU and founded Wasiu Alabi Pasuma (WAP1) fans club in 1997. It was his shared determination and resoluteness that allowed the club to be in existence because He was persecuted and humiliated to stop dreaming of the club because it was meant for touts and never well to do individuals.
